Introductions to Property & Casualty Insurance
Under Ohio law, high school students must earn one half credit of financial literacy as part of the state’s graduation requirements. The OII also partners with the Invest Program, a nationally recognized curriculum that prepares students for careers in the insurance industry. We are currently working with Invest to develop a specialized version of their curriculum that focuses on foundational insurance topics included in Ohio’s financial literacy model curriculum for high school.

Severe Weather Awareness and Preparedness
Each March, Ohio recognizes Severe Weather Awareness Week to encourage residents to prepare themselves for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes that typically occur in the spring and summer months.
