REPOSTING: OII 2012 Ohio earthquake coverage study

ReadyEarthquake1(August 25, 2014) Earthquake risk is taking front and center following Sunday’s San Francisco quake. For those rethinking the risk of earthquakes in Ohio and insurance coverage for them, OII reposts its April 2012 study on earthquake coverage and costs in Ohio.
According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Geological Survey, Ohio has sustained 10 earthquakes so far this year; there were 8 in 2013, 5 in 2012 and 18 in 2011, all of a 2.0 magnitude or greater.
