2002 Passenger Vehicles Insured Through Voluntary And Involuntary Plans By State


1 Car Years: 1/12 of the number of exposure months of liability insurance on vehicles rated as private passenger, non-fleet. May include some pickups insured as passenger cars, but not so registered. Does not include motorcycles, RVs, fleet or self-insured vehicles.
2 Residual market car years are estimates in the following states: MD, MA, NH, NC

It’s $56.67 cheaper to own a car in Hamilton County, OH than in Campbell County, KY. That's based on an annual cost of $3,785 in Ohio compared to $3,842 in Kentucky. The car used for the analysis was a 2000 Toyota Camry LE with 60,000 miles. This includes the cost of fuel, insurance, maintenance, parking and speeding tickets, taxes and fees.
