Fact: 60% of the total number of OVI driving convictions are by repeat

In the past three fiscal years, the Ohio Highway
Patrol participated in 96 sobriety checkpoints that averaged
5.18 DUI arrests. Fewer than 1% of the 75,930 drivers stopped
were arrested for DUI.
(Note: DUI is now known as OVI.)
